YHack 2022 will be a hybrid model. This means that Yale students will participate in-person while students from other universities will be able to participate virtually. There will be hybrid events and events catered to students participating virtually, so that all can enjoy the hackathon regardless of where you're participating.
Requirements
What to Build
- Hackers must build a functional application that meets the requirements of their track
What to Submit
- You must submit your project to yhack-2022.devpost.com before 10 AM EST on Sunday.
- Projects will be presented live on Discord to a panel of 4 judges per track. The presentation time cannot exceed 3 minutes. There will be 2 minutes for questions.
- Hackers can use slides to quickly introduce their track, problem, and solution.
- Hackers should be able to demo their project.
- You can only submit your project for one track, but can submit it for multiple sponsor challenges.
- Hackers must also submit a short pre-recorded pitch video. This video cannot exceed 3 minutes in length. This should be essentially the same as the Discord presentation.
- Submissions must include access to the source code written during the hackathon (link to Github)
- Submissions should include descriptions of the project, tech stack, and purpose. Each member should write about what they contributed.
