Introduction
YHack 2022 is a hackathon meant to facilitate collaboration and learning. We value each individual and hope to make an inclusive environment that welcomes all. Everyone deserves a chance to participate.
Team Rules
- All members must have been accepted as participants into YHack 2022
- Teams must be of sizes from 2-4
- Virtual/in-person hybrid teams are allowed
- You may not be in more than one team
Project Rules
- All code must be written between the start and end of the 36-hour hackathon: 10:00 PM EST on Friday, April 8 and 10 AM EST on Sunday, April 10.
- Plagiarism is not tolerated and teams found to have plagiarized work will be disqualified.
YHack Judging Rules
- Teams will be evaluated through a live-demo and presentation of the project. This presentation should describe the main features and benefits of the project. This cannot exceed 3 minutes in length.
- You must be in the Discord waiting room at the time for your presentation or your project will not be judged.
- If you are having any issues with presenting live, you can instead show the pre-recorded video.
- Projects will be judged on how well they innovate and successfully the given problem of their track.
Sponsorship Judging Rules
- Sponsors will evaluate pre-recorded pitch videos and in some cases have live presentations
- Sponsor challenges will be evaluated based on how well the challenge statement is met.
